Vladimir Kuraev

Was born in 1960 in Moscow.

From 1971 to 1978 the student of Moscow secondary artistic school under V.I. Surikov Institute (sculpture faculty).

Since 1978 had been a student of V.I.Surikov Moscow State Artistic Institute (sculpture faculty).

In 1984 graduated from V.I.Surikov Insitute with honours.

Since 1977 have been a participantmore then 40 exhibitions (All-Union, Republican, International), including 5 personal exhibitions in Moscow (Central gallery, 1998, 1999, 2002 ) and Evensville town (Indiana state, the USA).

Some of works are situated in museums and privat collections in Russia, the USA, Canada, Brazil, Portugal and other countries.

The member Moscow Union of Artists and International Artists Association, sculptor, head of sculpture department, the teacher of of sculpture and composition in Moscow Academical Artistic Lyceum of Russian Artistic Academy.

The author of some monumental works in the cities of Russia (Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Totma etc.).
